Googleは4日(米国時間)、NotebookLMに動画生成の新機能「Cinematic Video Overviews」を発表した。「Studio」パネルの「動画解説(Video Overview)」内にオプションとして追加し、米国のGoogle AI Ultraの加入者を対象に、Web版とモバイル版で順次提供を開始している。 Cinematic Video Overviewsは、Gemini 3やNano Banana Pro、Veo 3など複数のAIモデルを組み合わせ、滑らかなアニメーションと豊かで詳細なビジュアルを生成できる動画生成機能。 従来の「動画解説」のような、テンプレートや音声付きスライドによる動画形式とは異なり、ユーザーが読み込ませたソースをもとに、オーダーメイドで没入感のある動画を生成できるという。 また、Geminiがクリエイティブディレクターのように構成やスタイルを決定し、動画全体の一貫性を保ちながら、ストーリー展開や視覚的なスタイル、フォーマットを最適化する。 Introducing Cinematic Video Overviews, the next evolution of the NotebookLM Studio.
