国立大学初 ～ 香川大学がフィッシング対策協議会に正式加入
国立大学法人香川大学は1月28日、1月15日付で国立大学で初めてフィッシング対策協議会に正式に加入したと発表した。
フィッシング対策協議会（Council of Anti-Phishing Japan）は2005年に、フィッシング詐欺をはじめとするオンライン犯罪の増加を予見し、関係者情報交換を行い、被害状況に応じた対策を推進するという目的で発足している。
同学ではこれまで、サイバー防犯ボランティア「SETOKU」を中心に、フィッシングサイトのテイクダウン活動や注意喚起ビデオの制作・発信を通じた広報啓発活動などのフィッシング対策活動を積極的に行っており、これらの取り組みをさらに発展させるために同協議会への参画を通じて連携を強化し、学術研究や実践活動を推進するという。
同学では橋本正樹准教授（創造工学部 情報システム・セキュリティコース / 情報化推進統合拠点サイバーセキュリティセンター）を中心に、産官学連携によるフィッシングに関する研究を長年にわたり進めてきたが、今回の入会に伴い、同協議会の「学術研究WG」にも参画し、同WGを通じて「産官学」による研究活動を加速させ、成果を協議会メンバーへ還元する予定。
同学では、同協議会の活動を通じて得られるフィッシングサイト情報を活用し、研究活動の深化を図るとともに、SETOKUによる「フィッシング報告」や「広報啓発活動」を通じて、サイバー空間を含む地域の安全・安心の実現に努めるとのこと。
