7月に日本を訪れた外国人旅行者は344万人余りと、去年の同じ月と比べて0.1％増加し、4か月ぶりにプラスとなりました。中国からの旅行者は大幅な減少が続いているものの、近隣の韓国や台湾などから訪れた人は増えて、落ち込みを埋めた形です。
日本政府観光局によりますと、7月に日本を訪れた外国人旅行者は、速報値で344万2100人と、去年の同じ月と比べて0.1％増加しました。
国・地域別でみると、▽香港を除く中国は、42万8200人と日中関係の悪化を背景に56.1％減少し、8か月連続のマイナスとなりました。
一方、▽旅行者が最も多い韓国が、89万4700人と31.9％▽台湾は、76万3800人で26.4％それぞれ増加しました。
また、▽去年、SNSでうわさが広がり、大幅に減少した香港は、27万2500人と一転して54.8％増えました。
このほか、マレーシアなども大きく増加して、中国からの旅行者数が落ち込んだ分を埋めた形になりました。
