京都 園児たちがレンゲの花を摘む 収穫後の田畑を一部開放
京都市で、本格的な春の訪れを告げるレンゲの花を摘んで自然に親しんでもらう催しが開かれました。
京都市右京区の広沢池周辺では、地元の農家が収穫後の田畑でレンゲを栽培していて、今、花が見頃を迎えています。
ふだんは田畑に入ることはできませんが、自然に親しんでもらおうと、昭和46年から毎年この時期に一部を開放して花を摘む催しが開かれていて、17日は市内およそ50の幼稚園や小学校などの子どもたちがレンゲ畑に分け入りました。
このうち、右京区の幼稚園は、園児たちが手作りしたかごを持参して参加しました。
青空のもと、園児たちは紅紫色のレンゲの花を次々と摘み取っていき、「かわいい花がとれた」などと歓声をあげていました。
参加した5歳の男の子は「花摘みができてうれしかったです。レンゲの花はかわいかったです」と話していました。
