北海道苫前町の沖合 ホタテ漁船が転覆 行方不明2人の捜索続く
16日、北海道苫前町の沖合で5人が乗ったホタテ漁船が転覆した事故で、海上保安部は行方不明になっている乗組員2人を発見するため、潜水士を現場に出して捜索を続けています。
16日午後3時ごろ、苫前漁港の西およそ10キロの沖合で、北るもい漁業協同組合苫前支所所属の「第二十八三宝丸」9.7トンが転覆しました。
漁船には5人が乗っていて、このうち船長を含む3人は救助されましたが、29歳と48歳の乗組員2人が行方不明になっていて、留萌海上保安部は夜を徹して捜索を続けています。
17日朝からは海に潜って捜索を行う潜水士を現場に出して船内を確認しているということです。
また、17日朝からは漁協の船も加わっておよそ20隻で現場周辺を捜索していますが、海上保安部によりますと、これまでのところ2人は見つかっていないということです。
転覆した漁船は、当時、海中からホタテの養殖カゴを引き揚げる作業をしていたということです。
海上保安部は2人の捜索を続けるとともに、漁協では転覆した漁船の船内に乗組員が確認できなければ、漁船を苫前漁港までえい航することにしています。
北るもい漁協苫前支所「きょうは夜まで捜索続けたい」
北るもい漁協苫前支所の砂原宣洋支所長によりますと、転覆した漁船は、16日午前6時ごろに苫前漁港を出発し、ホタテを養殖施設から荷揚げする作業をしていたということです。
砂原支所長は「午後に漁船が転覆したときは波も穏やかで風もそれほど強くなかったので、何らかの理由でバランスが崩れてしまったのだと思う。きょうは夜まで捜索を続けたいが、天候が悪くなる予報もあるので天気を注視している」と話していました。
