7月17日、日産は、新しい「キャラバン」を発表した。
日産キャラバンは、広くて使い勝手の良いクラストップの荷室空間や、堂々とした存在感のあるデザインが特徴だ。
新しい日産キャラバンは、クラス初となる「インテリジェント クルーズコントロール」をガソリンモデルに採用。空荷からフル積載まで様々な車両状況において、ドライバーはもとより乗員の快適性と積載物への影響を抑える安定した加減速制御を行う。
ドライバーの運転をサポートする先行車発進お知らせ機能や、車線変更をサポートするコンフォートフラッシャー、ドライバーの安心感を高めるタイヤ空気圧警報システムなども装備する。
インテリアでは、スパイナルサポート機能付きシート（運転席・助手席）に、より振動吸収性に優れた低反発のクッション材を採用。
ナビゲーション画面やアラウンドビューモニターの視認性を向上させる大型画面の9インチナビが装着可能な、ナビフィニッシャーも用意した。
今回のアップデートで、新グレード「プレミアムGX Outdoor Black Edition」も設定。「プレミアムGX」をベースに、フロントグリル、バンパー、ドアミラー、フィニッシャー等各パーツをブラック化した。
日産モータースポーツ＆カスタマイズからは、新しい日産 キャラバンをベースとした新たなカスタムカー「AUTECH LINE」を設定した。
「AUTECH LINE」は、従来のAUTECHシリーズとは異なるカスタムカーとして発売される。エクステリアは、専用の15インチアルミホイールやルーフスポイラー（オプション）などを用意。インテリアには、専用の防水シートを装備した。
バン上級グレードの「プレミアムGX」をベースとした「AUTECH LINE」と、「GRANDプレミアムGX」をベースとした「AUTECH LINE PLUS」をラインナップ。
さらに、ブラックカラーのフロントグリル、バンパー、ドアミラー、フィニッシャー等のエクステリアパーツが施される「ブラックパッケージ」も選べるという。
