中東の日本人旅行者らのチャーター機第2便 サウジアラビア出発

中東にとどまっていた日本人旅行者らを乗せたチャーター機の第2便が、日本時間の9日夜8時ごろ、サウジアラビアを出発しました。300人近くが搭乗しているということで、10日朝にも日本に到着する予定です。

イラン情勢の緊迫化を受け、政府は中東のクウェート、バーレーン、カタール、UAEアラブ首長国連邦の4か国に滞在する日本人旅行者などのうち希望者の退避を支援していて、8日夜、第1便となるオマーンからのチャーター機が日本に到着しました。

そして、日本時間の9日夜8時ごろ、第2便となるチャーター機がサウジアラビアの首都リヤドを出発しました。

外務省関係者によりますと、クウェートやバーレーン、カタールなどに滞在していた300人近くが搭乗しているということで、10日朝にも日本に到着する予定です。

政府は今後、サウジアラビアとUAEからそれぞれ1便を追加で運航することにしていて、希望者全員が出国できるよう支援を続けることにしています。
