「日本マイクロモビリティ協会」発足 ドコモバイクシェアや東京海上など参加
マイクロモビリティ推進協議会は、9月1日から「日本マイクロモビリティ協会」として活動を開始した。座長に呉工業高等専門学校の神田佑亮教授を迎え、新たにドコモ・バイクシェア、OpenStreet、東京海上日動火災保険、三井住友海上火災保険、オージーケーカブトの5社が会員に加わった。
マイクロモビリティ推進協議会は2019年に設立。電動マイクロモビリティのシェアリング事業者が中心となり自主規制体制を構築するとともに、電動マイクロモビリティの安全に関わる周知啓発や、実証実験と事業化を推進してきた。法改正から2年が経過し、普及とともに課題も生じている中、日本マイクロモビリティ協会として取り組みの充実を図る。
電動マイクロモビリティを取り扱う事業者だけでなく保険会社やヘルメット事業者などとも連携。電動マイクロモビリティの安全・安心な普及、社会からの信頼性の向上、健全な業界発展に向けた横断的な取り組みなどを行なっていく。
