【写真を見る】特別なGクラス「STRONGER THAN THE 1980s」の全貌（23枚）
4月16日、メルセデス・ベンツは、現行の「Gクラス」をベースとした特別仕様車「STRONGER THAN THE 1980s」を発表した。
STRONGER THAN THE 1980sは、初代Gクラス（W460）へのオマージュとして企画・開発された。ベースとなるのは最新の「G450d」だ。
エクステリアは、ラジエーターグリルや前後バンパーなどをブラックに変更。足まわりは、5スポークデザインのアルミホイールを履く。リヤまわりでは、STRONGER THAN THE 1980s専用のスペアホイールカバーや、ブランドのバッヂが目をひく。さらに、マッドフラップやヘッドランプカバーなども装備する。
ボディカラーは「アガベグリーンソリッド」、「クリームソリッド」、「コロラド ベージュ」の3色を用意。
インテリアは、チェックパターンのファブリックを一部に使う。パッセンジャー用のグラブハンドルにはSTRONGER THAN THE 1980sの文字が刻まれた。ナッパレザーを使ったステアリングホイール、ガラス製スライドサンルーフ、Burmester 3Dサラウンドサウンドシステムなどの快適装備は標準だ。
STRONGER THAN THE 1980sの価格は、日本円で約¥25,910,000。460台限定だ。
