日産自動車は14日、KDDI、Moplusらと共同で、神奈川県横浜市にて2026年度に実施する「自動運転モビリティサービスの実証実験」の詳細を発表した。期間は10月1日～12月18日。一般モニターも第1期募集を開始している。 実証実験は、横浜市のみなとみらい・桜木町・関内を含む市街地エリアで、10月1日から12月18日まで、2期に分けて実施される。日産の「セレナ」をベースとした自動運転車両を使い、実際の配車サービスを通じて将来必要となる運用体制の課題抽出、サービスエコシステムの構築に向けた検証を行なう。 具体的には、セーフティドライバーが同乗する「レベル2自動運転」で実施され、レベル4自動運転モビリティサービスの社会実装に向けたノウハウの獲得を目指す。またKDDIにより、多台数の同時運行で発生する通信混雑や遠隔監視に必要なデータ量・品質の分析も行なわれる。 自動運転車両に乗車体験ができる一般モニターは、約500名が募集される。専用Webサイトからの申込で、参加費は無料。 2025年度に同様の実証実験を実施しているが、2026年度は規模を拡大。運行台数は5台から10台に、乗降地は26カ所から28カ所に拡大して実施する。日産・KDDI・Moplusの3社は、横浜市にて、2027年以降のレベル4自動運転モビリティサービスの提供開始を目指すとしている。
