ブレゲは、アブラアン-ルイ・ブレゲの工房があったパリで、創業250周年を祝した第1弾の新作を発表。ヌーシャテルの熟練時計職人であった初代ブレゲの技と現代のノウハウを融合させた「クラシック スースクリプション 2025」が登場した。
シンプルな構造と、ホワイトエナメル文字盤のピュアな魅力に象徴されるデザインは、1本の針で時刻を表示。極めて優れた視認性を誇る。
「クラシック スースクリプション 2025」は、ホワイトのグラン・フー エナメル文字盤で飾られ、アーカイブの懐中時計 No.246、No.324、No.383 など、ケ・ド・ロルロージュの工房で製作されていたタイムピースの精神を忠実に再現。裏蓋は、アブラアン-ルイ・ブレゲのサインを施した最初の「スースクリプション ウォッチ」の構造を着想源とする。
エナメルで完璧に彩られた文字盤はシンプルかつコントラストを基調とすることで読みやすさを実現。手作業で青焼きされ、カーブが施された、先端に穴が開いたスチール製のユニークなブレゲ針が配される。
先が細い先端は、わずかに傾いた有名なブレゲ数字と、特別に設計された区切り線があり、時、5分、10分、15分、30分の印が示された円形の「シュマン ド フェール（レイルウェイトラック）」 が描かれる。数字とミニッツマーカーには、12時位置に配されたブレゲのサインと同じブラックのプチ・フー エナメルが施される。
直径40mm、高さ10.8mmのケースに採用されるのは、独自のゴールド合金の「ブレゲゴールド」。ゴールド、シルバー、コッパー、パラジウムを組み合わせたブロンドの貴金属だ。
ケースバックは、わずかにドーム型のサファイアクリスタルから、真鍮にブレゲゴールドと同じカラーを施した新しいキャリバーVS00 の機械構造を確認できる。そこには、今年発表された新しいギヨシェ模様「ケ・ド・ロルロージュ」があしらわれた。
ムーブメントは3Hz（毎時21,600回）の振動数を誇り、1つの香箱だけで4日間のパワーリザーブを実現する。
2世紀以上も前、これまでに類を見ないかたちで広告パンフレットを通じて紹介された、歴史上重要な意味を持つ革新的な懐中時計「スースクリプション」は今、腕時計として生まれ変わることになる。
