glo、たばこ葉がこぼれ落ちない新スティック 先端を密封
ブリティッシュ・アメリカン・タバコ・ジャパンは、デバイス内にたばこ葉が落ちない新技術「StickSealテクノロジー」を、加熱式たばこ「glo」専用たばこスティック「neo」に搭載する。あわせて、レギュラーブレンド2銘柄を発売し、新技術は新製品を含めた全8銘柄に搭載する。発売は5月7日、価格は500円。

StickSealテクノロジーは、スティックの先端をシールで密封することで、使用後のデバイス内にたばこ葉が残ってしまうことを防ぐ技術。デバイスをブラシで掃除する必要がなくなる。
新製品は「ネオ・クラシック・タバコ・glo hyper用」「ネオ・スムース・タバコ・glo hyper用」の2銘柄。リニューアルするネオ・マイルド・タバコを含め、マスターブレンダーによる厳選たばこ葉使用の新ブレンドを採用したレギュラータイプで、上質なバージニア種とオリエンタル種を配合、たばこ葉の希少部位である香り高い葉肉部分「ラミナ」を100%使用、できるだけたばこ葉を加工しないことで高品質な味わい成分を維持の3つを特徴としている。
そのほか、オンラインショップ限定販売だったデバイスのカラー「グロー・ハイパー・プロ・ジェイド・ティール」を、5月13日から順次、全国の主要コンビニエンスストアで数量限定で発売する。
