新型マツダCX-5の全貌、遂に公開!!! 新エンジン「SKYACTIV-Z」も搭載へ

7月10日、マツダの欧州法人であるMazda Motor Europe（マツダ・モーター・ ヨーロッパ）は、新型「CX-5」の全貌を明らかにした。
CX-5は、マツダのデザインテーマ「魂動（こどう）-SOUL of MOTION」、優れた走行性能と環境性能を実現する「SKYACTIV（スカイアクティブ）技術」を全面的に採用した第1弾の商品として、2012年に導入された。
以来、世界100以上の国と地域で販売され、グローバルの累計販売 台数は450万台以上！ 現行ラインナップにおける最量販車種に成長したというからスゴい。
3代目となえる新型マツダCX-5の開発コンセプトは「新世代エモーショナル・デイリーコンフォート」。魂動デザイン、人馬一体の走りを継承・深化させ、眺めて触れて乗ることでの歓びと感動を提供しながら、室内空間の広さや使い勝手、乗り心地、静粛性を進化させたという。
ボディサイズは全長/全幅/全高：4690mm/1860mm/1695mmで、乗車定員は5名。設定されるエンジンは、当面2.5リッター直噴ガソリンエンジンの1種類で、性能値は市場によって異なるという。トランスミッションはSKYACTIV-DRIVE (6EC-AT)を組み合わせる。
実用燃費の向上とスムーズな走りに寄与するマツダのマイルドハイブリッドシステム「M ハイブリッド」は、欧州、日本などで設定される予定とのこと。
理想の燃焼を目指して開発中の「SKYACTIV-Z」は、マツダ独自の新ハイブリッドシステムと組み合わせて 2027 年中に導入予定だ。
一新したヒューマン・マシン・インターフェイスや。強化・拡充された通信機能やアプリケーション、進化した先進運転支援システム(ADAS)も用意する。
新型マツダCX-5は、欧州では2025年末、その他の市場では2026年中の発売を予定する。
