北海道 「根室さんま祭り」始まる 新鮮なサンマ味わう
サンマの水揚げ量が日本一の北海道根室市で、27日から「根室さんま祭り」が始まりました。
「根室さんま祭り」は、新鮮なサンマを味わってもらおうと毎年この時期に開催されています。
恒例の炉端焼きのコーナーでは、200円で箸と皿を買うと根室で水揚げされたサンマが食べ放題とあって長い行列ができていました。
また会場では、冷たい氷水の中のサンマをカゴに移すつかみ取り大会も行われ、中には一度で30匹ほど取る人もいました。
会場を訪れた男性は「大きくて脂ものっていておいしいです。10匹ぐらい食べたいです」と話していました。
「根室さんま祭り」は28日も開催されます。
