SBI VCトレード、国内初「USDCレンディング」 年率10%の貸コイン
SBI VCトレードは、ステーブルコインを活用した「USDCレンディング」を3月19日に開始する。国内のライセンス業者として初となるサービスで、米ドル価格に連動する電子決済手段であるステーブルコイン「USDC」を同社に貸し出し、利用料(賃貸料)を受け取れる。
サービス名称は「貸コイン」で、取引の種類は消費貸借取引。USDCを貸し出すだけで利用でき、貸出期間中に特段の手続きは不要。1回の募集における1口座あたりの申し込み上限は5,000USDC、返還は貸出数量に利用料を加算したUSDCで行なう。途中解約は原則できない。
当初募集は開始を記念し、12週間満期で年率10%で提供する。通常時は年率5%程度を予定する。銀行の米ドル外貨預金は、日本円から預け入れる際などの優遇金利を除くと、一般的な利回りが年率0.01%から4%程度であるのに対し、USDCレンディングではより安定して高水準の年率を提供できるとしている。
収益は雑所得として総合課税扱いとなり、他の雑所得がないなど一定の条件を満たし、年間の雑所得額が20万円以下であれば課税対象外となる。同社は国内で唯一、一般の顧客向けにステーブルコインの流通・取引サービスを提供できるライセンスを保有し、2025年3月26日からUSDCを取り扱っている。
