バング & オルフセン（Bang & Olufsen）が、藤原ヒロシ率いるデザインスタジオ、FRAGMENTとのコラボレーション コレクションを発表した。全世界に先駆けて日本で先行発売され、5月27日（水）よりオンラインストアおよびBang & Olufsen表参道店にて一部商品を展開する。
藤原とバング & オルフセンの関係は30年以上前に遡る。1990年代に自宅へバング & オルフセンのシステムを導入するため、配線が見えないよう家そのものを設計したというエピソードもあるほどだ。今回初のコラボレーションは新たな出会いではなく、長年の対話の延長線上にある「継続」として位置づけられている。 コレクションにはポータブルBluetoothスピーカー「Beosound A1」（64,000円）、ノイズキャンセリング ヘッドホン「Beoplay H100」（310,000円）、壁掛けスピーカー「Beosound Shape」（1,119,700円）、そして伝説的なCDプレーヤーを現代に蘇らせた「Beosystem 9000c」（10,990,200円）の4つのプロダクトが揃う。 FRAGMENTのシグネチャーであるブラックを際立たせるため、ポータブル製品には今回初めて高度な陽極酸化処理と手作業による研磨を施し、独特な液体のような光沢感を実現した。 発売を記念したポップアップは伊勢丹新宿店を皮切りに、阪急メンズ大阪、岩田屋本店で開催される。
