長野 諏訪大社上社 相撲甚句に合わせて踊る伝統行事
長野県諏訪市にある諏訪大社上社（かみしゃ）で、地元の人たちが相撲甚句（じんく）に合わせて踊りを披露する伝統行事が15日行われました。
諏訪大社上社では、毎年9月15日の十五夜に合わせて、地元の人たちが伝統の相撲踊りを奉納しています。
15日は20代から40代までの男性11人が力士となり、本宮拝殿前の「斎庭」で相撲甚句を歌いながら踊りを披露しました。
保存会によりますと、相撲の“守りと攻め”を表すとされる「胸たたき」の所作が受け継がれているのは全国でも珍しいということで、訪れた人たちは興味深そうに見入っていました。
大関として踊りを披露した宮城武弘さんは「歴史の重みを感じながら踊りを奉納することができました。この伝統を後世に伝えていきたいです」と話していました。
