宮城 南三陸町でマダコの初水揚げ 例年より2週間ほど早く解禁
宮城県南三陸町で、名産のマダコがことし初めて水揚げされました。
南三陸町の志津川湾のマダコはことし、早い時期から姿が多く見えたことから、例年より2週間ほど早く10月15日に漁が解禁されました。
地元の志津川漁港では17日朝、小型船が次々と入港し、漁師たちがかご漁でとれたマダコを水揚げしていました。
マダコは隣にある市場に持ち込まれ、担当者たちが手早く重さを量って仕分けていました。
志津川湾のマダコは、アワビなどを食べて育つため、うまみが強いとされ、去年は過去最高の水揚げ額を記録し豊漁でした。
17日は、去年の初日より少ない6トンが水揚げされ、重さ1キロから2キロほどの小ぶりのものが多く、1キロ当たり平均1586円で取り引きされました。
水揚げした地元の漁師は「サイズが思ったより小さいですが、初日としては、まあまあの水揚げです。地球温暖化の影響で、今までとれた魚がとれないので、タコはとれてほしいです」と話していました。
県漁協志津川支所の行場博文 支所運営委員長は「去年は豊漁だったので、ことしも期待したいです。志津川のマダコは本当においしいので、ぜひ食べてほしいです」と話していました。
