特産ねぎで“ねぎらい” 勤労感謝の日“ねぎ束”贈る 埼玉深谷

特産の深谷ねぎで知られる埼玉県深谷市は23日の「勤労感謝の日」を「深谷ねぎらいの日」と定め、市内の公園では大切な人にねぎを贈って感謝の気持ちを伝えようというイベントが開かれました。

深谷市は、特産のねぎをPRしようと11月23日の「勤労感謝の日」を大切な人をねぎらう「深谷ねぎらいの日」とし、家族などにねぎを贈ろうという取り組みを進めています。 23日は市内の公園で深谷ねぎを花束のように束ねた「ねぎ束」をつくる体験会が開かれ、地元の親子連れなどが参加しました。

参加した人たちは、家族への感謝のメッセージを紙に書いて袋に貼り、2本の深谷ねぎを袋に入れて「ねぎ束」を作っていました。 参加した40代の女性は「立派なプレゼントができてうれしいです。ねぎを鍋にしたり焼いたりして家族みんなをねぎらいたいです」と話していました。 深谷市協働推進課の里見篤司係長は「深谷ねぎが旬を迎えるなか多くの方が来てくれました。ねぎ束で家族をねぎらってもらえたらうれしいです」と話していました。
