JR九州によりますと、九州新幹線は熊本駅と鹿児島中央駅の間で運行を取りやめています。

このうち線路や橋りょうに大きな破損が確認された熊本駅と新水俣駅の間は、8月中は運転できない見通しだということです。

一方、新水俣駅と鹿児島中央駅の間は現在、運転の再開に向けて検討を進めているとしています。

西日本高速道路などによりますと九州の高速道路では熊本県内を中心に通行止めが続いています。

通行止めになっているのは、▽九州自動車道の熊本県の松橋インターチェンジと宮崎県のえびのインターチェンジの間の上下線と▽南九州自動車道の熊本県の八代ジャンクションと田浦インターチェンジの間の上下線です。

国交省などは復旧にあたる緊急車両の通行を確保するため、一般車両が被災地周辺の道路を利用することを控えるよう呼びかけています。

また、西日本鉄道の高速バスも、福岡と宮崎、鹿児島を結ぶ路線で今月6日までの運休が決まっています。

一方、福岡と宮崎県の延岡を結ぶ路線は運行していて、西日本鉄道では福岡と宮崎の間は延岡経由での移動を検討するよう呼びかけています。

空の便は、新幹線の運行取りやめや高速道路の通行止めが続いているため、日本航空が福岡と鹿児島を結ぶ臨時便の運航を続けています。
