随意契約による備蓄米の販売期限が延長 売り場では？
8月末に販売の期限が迫っていた随意契約による備蓄米について、小泉農林水産大臣は8月20日、9月1日以降も事業者による販売を認めると発表、大手スーパーなどが引き続き販売を続ける方針です。
新米が本格的に出回る時期を迎えた9月1日の動きです。
大手スーパーなど各社は
随意契約による備蓄米を申し込んだ小売各社の間では、大手スーパーなどが引き続き販売を続ける方針です。
このうち、大手スーパーのイオンはいまも消費者の備蓄米に対する需要が根強いことから販売を継続する判断をしたということです。
ただ申し込んだあわせて2万6000トンあまりのうち、令和3年産の5000トンと、中食用の1130トンはキャンセルしたということです。
イトーヨーカ堂も精米が済んでいる5000トンの備蓄米について販売を継続することにしていて、9月中旬ごろに完売できる見通しだとしています。
またホームセンターのカインズも客から一定の需要があるとして、購入の選択肢を広げるために販売を続けるとしています。
一方、コンビニ大手のファミリーマートは申し込んだ1700トンすべてを先月中に販売したとみられるとしています。
大手ドラッグストア 千葉市内の店舗では
随意契約による備蓄米の販売期限が延長されたことを受けて、大手ドラッグストアでは、1日からさっそく販売を行っていました。
九州地方を中心に店舗を展開する大手ドラッグストアでは、随意契約の備蓄米をことし6月から5キロ税込み1980円で販売しています。
千葉市内の店舗には、1日40袋の備蓄米が入荷し、客が次々と購入していました。
この店では8月から新米を販売していますが、価格は千葉県産の銘柄米が5キロ税込み3998円と、備蓄米の2倍ほどします。
このため割安感のある備蓄米は入荷すると1日から2日で売り切れてしまうということです。

「別のスーパーで売っていなかったが、この店で売っていたので購入した。新米は価格が高いので、買うのは数回に1回に抑え、備蓄米があるうちは購入したい」

この大手ドラッグストアでは備蓄米2万トンの購入を申請しましたが、1日までに販売できたのは3割程度にとどまっているということで、倉庫から出荷され次第、できるだけ早く店頭に並べることにしています。

小泉農相 販売延長で「安定価格の実現を」
随意契約による備蓄米について農林水産省は当初、販売期限を8月末までとしていましたが、業者への引き渡しの遅れなどを理由に期限を延長して9月1日以降も販売を認めています。
小泉農林水産大臣は、これについて1日、記者団に対し「農家からも一定の理解はいただいていると思う」としたうえで「コメの安定供給と安定価格の実現をもって軟着陸をさせていく歩みを続けていきたい」と述べ、コメの価格の安定に向けた取り組みを続けていく考えを改めて示しました。
また、コメの作柄を示す「作況指数」の公表を廃止する方針を示していることについて「総務省の統計委員会とのやり取りで、参考としての作況指数に代わるものの指摘もあると聞いている。何か必要だというものがあれば、考えることはありうる」と述べ、必要に応じて作況指数に代わる指標を検討していく考えを示しました。

「新米と備蓄米が重なることによって、全体的な精米量が減るということはない。ただ消費者ニーズに応じて新米の需要が強くなったり、備蓄米の需要が強くなったりすると、それによってどちらかのコメが出回りにくくなるなど、アンバランスが発生する可能性はある」
