天皇皇后両陛下 きょうからモンゴルを公式訪問
天皇皇后両陛下は国際親善のため、6日から8日間の日程でモンゴルを公式訪問されます。滞在中、終戦から80年の節目を前に、現地にある慰霊碑を訪ねて、帰国がかなわなかった日本人抑留者の霊を慰められる予定です。
両陛下の外国公式訪問は、去年のイギリスに続き即位後4回目、天皇皇后のモンゴル訪問は初めてで、おふたりは6日午前、政府専用機で羽田空港を出発し、午後にモンゴルの首都ウランバートルに到着されます。
そして、8日には国賓として歓迎式典に臨んだあと、政府庁舎の中にある賓客応接用の「ゲル」でフレルスフ大統領夫妻と会見し、夜には宿泊先のホテルで歓迎の晩さん会に臨まれます。
また、この日の午後には、敗戦後、旧ソビエトによって抑留されてモンゴルに送られ、過酷な労働などのため命を落とした日本人の慰霊碑を訪ねて、犠牲者の霊を慰められます。
滞在中は、モンゴルの歴史や文化に触れ人々と交流するほか、日程の終盤には、弓や競馬などの腕前を競う国民的なスポーツの祭典「ナーダム」の開会式に出席し、競技をご覧になります。
さらに、広大な草原があり希少な馬の保護区になっている国立公園を視察し、13日に帰国される予定です。
