韓国との軍事境界線近くで「要塞化」を進める北朝鮮が、韓国側の展望台から1キロあまりの近い場所に自走砲と呼ばれる大砲を搭載した車両を複数配置していることがわかりました。

NHKの取材班は27日、ソウル近郊のキョンギ道キンポにある展望台から川を挟んで対岸の北朝鮮側を撮影し、自走砲と呼ばれる大砲を搭載した車両を少なくとも3両確認しました。

展望台から自走砲までの距離はおよそ1.4キロと近く、車両の周辺では北朝鮮軍の兵士もみられました。

韓国メディアによりますと自走砲は口径122ミリで射程が15キロから24キロほどだということです。

韓国を敵対国と位置づける北朝鮮は、南北の軍事境界線付近に地雷や鉄条網を設置するなど「要塞化」を進めています。

韓国メディアは北朝鮮軍の自走砲が韓国側から見える場所に配置されるのは異例だとした上で、軍事境界線付近での緊張を高めようとする意図があるとの見方を伝えています。

北朝鮮軍の動きについて韓国国防省は「動向を注意深く見守りいかなる挑発にも対応できる態勢を維持する」としています。
