PayPay、送金に制限追加 本人確認前は1カ月30万円まで
PayPayは7日、本人確認(eKYC)が未完了の人の「PayPayマネーライト」について、上限額の制限を追加導入すると発表した。本人確認が完了していない場合、従来の制限のほか、「PayPay残高を送る」際に1日10万円まで、1カ月あたり30万円までの制限が追加される。

また、ポイントコードチャージについても、1日1万円まで、1カ月あたり30万円までの制限が追加される。これら制限の追加は、法改正によるもの。追加は5月初旬から6月中旬にかけて順次実施予定としている。
なお、従来よりPayPay残高を送る際には、過去24時間あたり10万円まで、過去30日あたり50万円までの制限が存在している。今回、本人確認が完了していない人について、新たな制限が追加される。マネーライトでの決済やポイントコード以外のチャージ、PayPayマネーやPayPayポイントの利用には変更はない。
本人確認(eKYC)を行なえば、上限が緩和されるほか、PayPayにおいてより多くの機能が利用できるようになる。そのためPayPayは、ユーザーに本人確認の実施を呼びかけている。
あわせて5月12日付けのでPayPayサービス利用規約とPayPay残高利用規約改定も発表している。法改正にあわせて、「PayPayマネーライト」において、本人確認完了済みの「PayPayマネーライト(高額)」と本人確認前の「PayPayマネーライト(低額)」が新設される。
