新型メルセデス・マイバッハ V12 エディション登場。12気筒エンジンを祝す!!!

9月23日、メルセデス・マイバッハは、特別な「V12エディション」を、イタリアのチヴィタヴェッキアにあるミケランジェロ要塞でVIP顧客と一部メディアの前で発表した。
メルセデス・マイバッハV12エディションのベースとなるのは、メルセデス・マイバッハ「S 680」だ。同モデルは、今や希少な6.0リッターV12エンジンを搭載するのが特徴で、612psの最高出力と、900Nmの最大トルクを誇る。組み合わされるトランスミッションは9ATで、駆動方式は4マティック（4WD）。最高速度おそ250km/hに抑えられているものの、0〜100km/hの加速タイムは4.5秒だ。
今回発表されたV12エディションは、1930年代初頭に発表されたマイバッハ「ツェッペリン」の伝統を称えるモデルとして発表された。ツェッペリンもまたV12エンジンを搭載した超高級車だった。
メルセデス・マイバッハV12エディションの目玉はマヌファクトゥーアプログラムが手掛けた専用の内外装だ。ボディカラーはオリーブメタリックとオブシディアンブラックメタリックの2トーンで、ハイテクシルバーメタリックピンストライプがアクセントで入る。この特徴的なカラーリングは通常のマイバッハモデルの2倍の作業日数が要するという。
足まわりでは、オリーブメタリックの専用鍛造ホイールを採用。Cピラーには24金を使ったゴージャスな専用エンブレムを施し、V12エディションであることを主張する。
インテリアは、サドルブラウンのナッパレザーとハイグロス ブラウンのウォールナットウッドをたっぷり使ったゴージャスな仕立てだ。センターコンソールに「1 of 50」バッジが備わるほか、リヤセンターコンソールにもCピラー同様にゴールドの専用バッヂがあしらわれた。
ほかにもシルバーメッキのシャンパーニュフルート、インテリアコンセプトに合わせた専用トランクマット、ハンドメイドのキーギフトボックス、エディション専用キーリングなどの特注アクセサリーを含む。
メルセデス・マイバッハ V12 エディションは一部の市場でのみ販売され、2025 年秋から顧客に納車される予定だ。超VIP顧客向けのため価格は、非公開だ。
