福島 除染土の再生利用 双葉町長 “県内受け入れの検討必要”

東京電力福島第一原子力発電所の事故で除染で取り除かれた土などは、2045年までの福島県外での最終処分が定められ、国は放射性物質の濃度が低いものは公共工事などで再生利用し、残りを最終処分する方針です。

これをめぐって24日、福島県双葉町の町長は個人的な見解と断ったうえで「最終処分などについて理解醸成が進まず危機的だ。まずは町を含む福島県内での再生利用受け入れを検討する必要がある」という認識を示しました。

原発事故のあと、福島県内の除染のために取り除かれた大量の土などは、大熊町と双葉町にまたがる中間貯蔵施設で保管されていて、2045年3月までに福島県外で最終処分することが法律で定められています。

また環境省は、放射性物質の濃度が低い土について、全国の公共工事などで再生利用したうえで残りを最終処分する方針を示していますが、関東地方で計画された実証事業は地元の反対で中断されています。

これをめぐって24日、双葉町の伊澤史朗町長は報道各社の取材に応じ、個人的な見解と断ったうえで「中間貯蔵施設の供用開始から10年が経過し、最終処分や再生利用について県内外の理解醸成が進んでいないことは危機的だ。まずは町を含む福島県内での再生利用受け入れを検討する必要がある」という認識を示しました。

町としての再生利用事業の受け入れについては、必要になった段階で町議会や町民に説明を行うとしています。
