テニス 大坂なおみ 全米オープン女子シングルスで4回戦進出
テニスの四大大会、全米オープンの女子シングルス3回戦で大坂なおみ選手がオーストラリアの選手に勝って4回戦に進みました。大坂選手は出産後の去年1月に競技に復帰して以降、四大大会では初めてのベスト16です。
テニスの四大大会、今シーズン最終戦となる全米オープンは30日、女子のシングルス3回戦が行われ、2018年と2020年にこの大会を制した世界ランキング24位の大坂選手が、世界18位のオーストラリアのカサットキーナ選手と対戦しました。
大坂選手は第1セットを6ー0で取りますが、第2セットは4-6で奪われました。
そして最終の第3セットでは先にブレークを奪って主導権を握り、6-3で取り返してセットカウント2対1で競り勝ちました。
大坂選手は全米オープンでは優勝を果たした2020年以来5年ぶりの4回戦進出です。また出産後の去年1月に競技に復帰して以降、四大大会では初めてのベスト16となりました。
次の4回戦は世界3位でアメリカのガウフ選手と対戦する予定で、得意のハードコートで準々決勝進出を目指します。
