カシオEDIFICE、「NISMO」初代ロゴでトリコロールの特別モデル
カシオ計算機は、腕時計ブランド「EDIFICE」(エディフィス)の新作として、「NISMO」の初代ロゴや歴代レーシングカーをモチーフにした「NISMOヘリテージエディション」(ECB-S10NIS)を9月12日に発売する。予約は9月1日から。Bluetooth連携のクオーツ式で、価格は44,000円。

NISMOヘリテージエディション ECB-S10NISは、日産とニスモの全面協力のもと企画・監修され開発された特別モデル。1992年のデイトナ24時間レースで日本車初の総合優勝を果たした「R91CP」など、歴代マシンに使われてきた赤・青・白のトリコロールカラーを採用する。
文字板中央には初代「NISMO」のロゴを大胆に配置しており、耐久レースの夜間走行で使用される発光式ゼッケンをイメージした蓄光加工が施される。
バンドには1984年から1997年にかけてタイトルを獲得したレースカーの型式がプリントされ、80年代レーシングスーツのストライプもデザインに取り入れた。初代NISMOロゴは裏蓋にも刻印される。
また、1990年代のレースシーンを席巻した「R32型スカイラインGT-R(カルソニックスカイライン)」のオマージュとして、時計の風防を車のフロントガラスに見立てている。ガラス素材を示す「SAPPHIRE」の表記は、車のフロントウインドウに張られたデカールの色味や字体を採用するなどこだわりを詰め込んでいる。
今回の特別モデルのベースになったのは4月に発売された「ECB-S10」で、厚さが10mmを切る薄型ケースが特徴のアナログ・デジタルコンビネーションモデル。パッケージも特別版になる。
Bluetoothによるスマートフォンリンク機能を搭載しており、Bluetooth経由で時刻の自動修正や、アプリを介してワールドタイムを約300都市から簡単に選べる。時差の異なる地域に出張する際や旅行先でも、スマートフォンで現地のローカルタイムを自動取得でき、サマータイムにも対応する。アラームやタイマーもアプリで設定し腕時計に転送できる。
ケースはステンレススチール製。風防はサファイアガラス。バンドは本革と合成皮革のコンビネーション。防水性能は10気圧防水。ワールドタイム、ストップウォッチ、タイマー、時刻アラーム、ダブルLEDライトの各機能を搭載する。電池寿命は約2年。本体サイズは48×43×9.6mm、重量は69g。
ニスモは1984年9月に日産自動車のモータースポーツ専門会社として誕生。国内外のモータースポーツ活動をはじめ、オリジナルブランドのロードカー、カスタマイズパーツを提供している。エディフィスはモータースポーツをテーマにした腕時計を開発しており、2021年からニスモの活動をサポートしている。
