Googleによれば、ユーザーの63％がGeminiに直接話しかけており、その中には「音声のみ」を利用するユーザーも増えているという。特に忙しい親は、日常的なタスクに音声機能を利用する確率が43％高い。また、Gemini Liveではやりとりの1/5が音声だけでなく、ライブカメラ映像や画面共有が併用されており、DIY用途や学生の間で使われているという。
