アメリカの両雄がコラボレーション！ ブルックス ブラザーズ x コンバースが登場──GQ新着スニーカー
ブルックス ブラザーズ（Brooks Brothers）がコンバース（CONVERSE）とのコラボレーションを発表。3月3日（月）から3月9日（日）の期間でブルックス ブラザーズ オンラインストアにて先行予約が開始され、3月12日（水）からブルックス ブラザーズ 表参道と京都高島屋にて先行発売。その後、3月15日（土）よりブルックス ブラザーズの限定16店舗、およびエディフィス、イエナ、ヘリンボーンの限定店舗にて販売される。

今回のコラボレーションのベースは、先日発売され、話題を集めるコンバースの「オールスター LGCY（ALL STAR LGCY）」だ。アーカイブへの敬意を込めたディテールと快適な履き心地が融合した新たなフラッグシップモデルは、70年代のオールスターのディテールを踏襲し、クラシックな美しさを宿したなかに、現代の感性とニーズに応えるデザインと履き心地が融合。単なるヴィンテージの再現ではなく、現代のライフスタイルにフィットするその佇まいは、伝統を守りながら常に革新を続けるブルックス ブラザーズの提案するブランドの世界観と調和し、アメトラのスタイリングにかかせないアイテムに仕上がっている。
トウキャップやアウトソールにあしらわれたテープ、ソール、一つ星のヒールラベルにすべてブルックス ブラザーズのアイコニックなネイビーを取り入れ、ハイカットモデルのノッチ付きのアンクルパッチにあしらわれたスターと「CONVERSE ALL STAR」の文字もネイビーのトーナルカラーとなっている。さらに、インソールとシュータン部分にも両ブランドのロゴがネイビーで施され、本コラボ限定のWネーム仕様も見逃せない。
ブルックス ブラザーズ店舗および公式オンラインストアで購入した際には、ブルックス ブラザーズのブランドロゴが入ったオリジナルのエラスティックシューレースがプレゼントされる特典も提供される。
