X が反ユダヤ主義に継続的取り組み
米 X 社は9月11日、反ユダヤ主義に対する同社の継続的な取り組みを発表した。
同社ではプラットフォームの安全性と言論の自由のバランスのとれたポリシーとその執行を実現するために、X（旧Twitter）利用者からのフィードバックと外部団体との対話を継続しており、2023年初めには「暴力行為とヘイト行為の主体に関するポリシー」の拡充と「暴力的な発言に関するポリシー」の刷新、対象となる侮辱的、攻撃的行動を明確に定義するために「攻撃的な行為および嫌がらせに関するポリシー」を更新している。
同社では、変化する情勢や特定の人々やグループに対する新しい差別・誹謗中傷に対抗するために、継続的に用語やフレーズを運用ハンドブックに追加しており、例としてユダヤ人コミュニティのメンバーを標的にする言語の使用をモニターしていることを紹介している。
同社では今後も、機械学習モデルの適用範囲を拡大することで、プラットフォーム上での侮辱的、反ユダヤ主義行為を含むヘイト行為をより迅速に特定し、対処するための強制執行プログラムの改善を継続するとのこと。
