Galaxy S26シリーズ、日本でもAirDrop対応開始

サムスン「Galaxy S26シリーズ」の「Quick Share」が「AirDrop」の対応を開始した。3月26日から日本でも、Quick Shareを通じてiPhoneなどのデバイス間のコンテンツ共有ができるようになる。 Quick Shareは、写真、動画、ドキュメントなどのファイルをすばやく簡単に共有できるAndroidの機能。Bluetoothによるプッシュ通知やQRコード、リンクを介して、遠くにあるデバイスともデータを共有できる。従来はAndroid同士の共有機能となっていたが、今回の対応により、AirDropに対応するiPhone(iOS端末)との共有も可能となった。 韓国では23日から対応開始していたが、26日に日本でも対応したもの。なおGoogleは、25年11月に、AndroidのQuick ShareがiOSのAirDropと連携できるようにする方針を発表。Pixel 10シリーズがAirDropと連携可能となっている。
