メルカリ、サポート対応問題で謝罪 不正対策と体制強化へ
メルカリは17日、トラブルなどのユーザーサポートについての批判的な意見や多数の問い合わせを受けていることで謝罪し、今後サポート方針の見直しや強化を行なうと発表した。
11月上旬から、メルカリ利用者におけるユーザーサポートの対応を巡り、XなどSNS上で不満の声が上がっていた。特に出品者がキャンセル・返品に対応した際に、「返品されたものの中身がない・別物だった」「すり替えられていた」などの事例が多数報告され、その被害をメルカリのサポートに訴えたものの、被害に対するサポートが全く得られないという事例が多くなっている。
メルカリの取引を悪用した詐欺的な手法が確認されているにもかかわらず、メルカリのサポートが助けにならない状況で、被害者側への金銭・精神・時間的な負担が生じていることから、批判の声が上がっていた。
メルカリでは17日付けでWebサイトやX上で「多くのお客さまにご迷惑、ご心配をおかけし、誠に申し訳ございません」と謝罪するとともに、「より安心安全にメルカリをご利用いただけるよう、お客さまサポートの方針と体制の見直し・強化が必要と考えている」との方針を発表した。今後、当事者間で解決が難しいトラブルに対し、メルカリのサポートの関与を強めて早期解決を目指すほか、不正利用者への対策を強化していく。
