【ライブ】サントリーHD 新浪剛史会長辞任へ 15時から会社会見
サントリーホールディングスの新浪剛史会長が辞任することがわかりました。
捜査関係者によりますと、新浪会長をめぐっては、大麻成分を含む製品が海外に住む知人から送られていた疑いがあるとして、福岡県警が麻薬取締法違反の疑いで8月22日、都内の新浪会長の自宅を捜索したということです。
送られていた製品に大麻成分の「THC」が含まれていた疑いがあるということですが、警察は国内では規制の対象となっていたことを認識していたかなどを慎重に調べることにしています。
この捜査と辞任との関係について、会社はこれまでのところ明らかにしていませんが、サントリーホールディングスは、このあと午後3時から都内で記者会見を開いて、鳥井信宏社長らが説明することにしています。
新浪剛史氏は66歳。
大手商社の三菱商事に入社し、2002年からローソンの経営トップを務めたあと、2014年にはサントリーホールディングスで創業家以外で初めてとなる社長に就任。
10年あまりにわたって海外事業の強化などに手腕を発揮し、ことし、創業家出身の鳥井信宏氏が社長に就任してからは代表権のある会長を務めていました。
また、経済界を代表する立場として2014年からは政府の経済財政諮問会議の議員を務めてきたほか、おととしから経済同友会の代表幹事を務め、賃金引き上げの広がりなどに力を尽くしてきました。
