JR東、新宿・渋谷のホームドアを28年度末までに整備へ
JR東日本は、2025年度のホームドア整備計画を発表した。秋葉原、四ツ谷、池袋など30駅57番線で整備が進められる。

2025年度は、30駅57番線への整備が進められる計画。山手線では池袋駅の5・8番線のほか、中央線・総武線各駅停車では四ツ谷駅の3・4番線、秋葉原駅の5・6番線、両国駅の1・2番線、西船橋駅の2・3番線などで整備される。根岸線、横浜線でも整備が進められる。
JR東日本は、2031年度末頃までに東京圏在来線の主要路線330駅758番線へのホームドア導入を目指している。2024年度は、140駅288番線でホームドアの整備が完了する予定。
■ 2028年度までに新宿・渋谷や中央線
東京都と連携してホームドア設置を加速させる取り組みも行なっており、2028年度末までに東京都内でホームドアを整備する駅についても明らかにされた。
それによれば、新宿駅(山手線、中央・総武線)、渋谷駅(山手線)で整備が始まるほか、中央・総武線でも中野駅や吉祥寺駅など多くの駅で整備が進められる。
