Microsoftは12日(米国時間)、「Copilot」で選択できるAIモデルにSpaceXAIの「Grok」を追加した。まずはFrontierプログラムの対象ユーザー向けプレビューとして、Word、Excel、PowerPointで順次提供する。
Grokへのアクセスは専用の管理設定で制御され、初期状態では無効となっている。利用する場合は、組織の管理者が設定を有効にする必要がある。管理者は対応するCopilot上でGrokによって処理されるデータを管理できる。
プレビュー期間中はEU、欧州自由貿易連合(EFTA)、英国のFrontierユーザーにはGrokを提供しない。提供にあたり、MicrosoftはSpaceXAIを「Online Services Subprocessor List」に追加した。
CopilotではOpenAIやAnthropicのモデルも選択できる。Microsoftは今後、ユーザーからのフィードバックや利用パターン、製品との適合性を評価したうえで、ほかのCopilotの機能や提供対象へのGrokの拡大を検討する。
