メゾン マルジェラの「レプリカ」から新作フレグランス「ネバーエンディングサマー」が発売──太陽が照らすアマルフィオレンジの香りをイメージ

メゾン マルジェラ（Maison Margiela）の人気フレグランスコレクション、「レプリカ（REPLICA）」に、新たな香り「ネバーエンディングサマー（Never-Ending Summer）」が登場。6月5日（木）より、全国のメゾン マルジェラ「レプリカ」フレグランス取扱店舗およびオンラインストアなどにて発売される。
イタリア・アマルフィの崖沿いを吹き抜ける風と、そこに混じるオレンジの香り──そんな、地中海の夏の情景から着想を得たのが、「ネバーエンディング サマー」だ。
ターコイズブルーの海と陽光を受けた砂浜の風景を思わせる、爽やかなシトラスウッディの香りで、マルジェラ独自の“イタリアン スプリッツ アコード”がベースとなり、ビターオレンジのフレッシュな立ち上がりが五感を呼び覚ます。
そこに重なるのは、スパイシーなジンジャーとアーシーなベチバー。太陽に焼かれた地中海の大地や、崖沿いに茂る柑橘の木立を彷彿とさせる、奥行きのある香りに仕上がっている。
調香師クリストフ・レイノーは、「地中海沿岸のきらめく輝きを彷彿とさせる、活気と喜びに満ちた夏のひとときを祝う香り」と表現。イタリア語で「甘い生活」を意味する“ラ・ドルチェ・ヴィータ”へのオマージュとして、夏の解放感と軽やかなスピリットを香りに閉じ込めた一本だ。
