日銀 植田総裁 経済・物価情勢の改善に応じ追加の利上げ検討
日銀の植田総裁は3日、石破総理大臣と会談し、経済や物価の情勢などについて意見を交わしました。植田総裁は記者団に対して経済・物価情勢の改善に応じて追加の利上げを検討していく姿勢を改めて示しました。
日銀の植田総裁は、3日正午前、総理大臣官邸を訪れ、およそ1時間にわたって石破総理大臣と会談しました。
石破総理大臣との会談はことし2月以来、3回目です。
会談のあと植田総裁は記者団の取材に応じ、今回の会談は定例の意見交換だと説明したうえで「経済・物価の情勢や市場の動向などについて意見交換した。石破総理大臣からは経済のありとあらゆる面について質問や意見があった」と述べました。
また、国内の政治情勢が為替市場に与える影響について話し合われたのか問われたのに対して「為替相場はファンダメンタルズ＝経済情勢に沿って安定的に推移するのが望ましいと考えている。政府と連絡をとりつつ、為替市場の動向についてモニターしていきたい」と述べるにとどまりました。
そのうえで追加の利上げに対する考え方を問われると「経済・物価の見通しが実現していくとすれば、経済・物価情勢の改善に応じて利上げをするスタンスに変わりはない。予断を持たずに確認していきたい」と述べ、経済情勢などに応じ、検討していく姿勢を改めて示しました。
