衣料品チェーン「ファッションセンターしまむら」を運営するしまむらは6日、スーパーマーケット「サミット」の衣料品事業「コルモピア」21店舗を事業譲受すると発表した。今後、順次「コルモピア」店舗を「しまむら」に転換していく。コルモピアは、サミットの衣料品事業として、首都圏を中心に衣料・生活用品店を展開してきた。サミットでは、日常衣料の提供継続を踏まえ様々な選択肢を検討する中で、21店舗の事業基盤の譲渡を決めたとしている。しまむらは、「コルモピアは、長年にわたり地域のお客様に日常衣料を提供し、地域の暮らしを支えてきた事業。対象店舗は、しまむらの基本理念の実現を図るうえでも有用な立地で、地域の顧客との接点を有している」と事業譲受の理由を説明している。今後、21店舗をコルモピアからしまむらに段階的に移行。2027年3月の移行完了を目指す。
