広島 国の名勝「縮景園」で「梅見茶会」 早春の訪れ楽しむ
広島市にある国の名勝「縮景園」で恒例の「梅見茶会」が開かれ、訪れた人たちが抹茶を味わいながら早春の訪れを楽しみました。
広島市中区にある縮景園は江戸時代に築かれた庭園で、園内には紅梅と白梅あわせて19種類、およそ140本の梅の木が植えられています。
16日は毎年この時期恒例の「梅見茶会」が開かれ、訪れた人は茶室で梅の花をかたどった生菓子を味わったあと、その場でたてられた抹茶を楽しんでいました。
園内の梅は今月の寒波の影響もあり、まだほとんどがつぼみの状態ですが、梅林では甘酒がふるまわれ訪れた人たちは梅を見ながら甘酒で温まっていました。
抹茶を楽しんだ広島市西区の60代の女性は「梅のほころびを楽しみにきました。茶道具や掛け物は春を思わせるものがそろい春の訪れを感じることができました」と話していました。
縮景園によりますと、園内の梅は来月上旬以降に見頃を迎える見込みだということです。
