韓国調査船が竹島周辺のEEZ内を無断で調査 政府が抗議
島根県の竹島周辺の日本の排他的経済水域内で、韓国の調査船が無断で海洋調査とみられる活動を行ったとして政府は外交ルートを通じて、韓国側に抗議しました。
外務省によりますと、16日午後、島根県の竹島の西から北西にかけての日本のEEZ＝排他的経済水域内で、韓国の調査船1隻がワイヤーのようなものを海中に投入して、海洋調査とみられる活動を行っているのを海上保安庁の巡視船が確認しました。
これを受けて、外務省の金井アジア大洋州局長は東京にある韓国大使館のキム・ジャンヒョン（金壯※）次席公使に電話し「事前の同意なく調査が行われたことは受け入れられない。竹島は歴史的事実に照らしても国際法上も明らかに日本固有の領土だ」と強く抗議しました。
また、ソウルの日本大使館から韓国外務省に対しても同様の抗議を行ったということです。
