JR西、当日受付で新幹線荷物輸送「荷もっシュッ! Quick」
JR西日本とジェイアール西日本マルニックスは、新幹線荷物輸送において、法人を対象にした「当日受付・即日配送」ができる緊急輸送サービスの実証実験を7月1日に開始する。輸送区間は、山陽新幹線 新大阪・広島・博多の上下線相互駅間。便数は上下線各10便程度。

輸送列車は、日中時間帯に対象駅を発車する「みずほ号」・「さくら号」。利用時は、ジェイアール西日本マルニックスへ輸送依頼の連絡をし、列車発車時刻の30分前までに指定の場所まで持ち込む。集荷・配送は別途オプション料金が必要。
緊急輸送は1列車5箱までの積込みで、5箱まで均一料金。5箱輸送の場合の料金は、新大阪⇔広島が37,000円、広島⇔博多が30,000円、新大阪⇔博多が67,000円。既存の定期・スポット配送の基本料金は15,000円。荷物の大きさは、3辺の合計120cmが目安。
あわせて、荷物輸送サービスの総称を新たに策定。定期・スポット輸送が「荷もっシュッ!」、緊急輸送が「荷もっシュッ! Quick」となる。
名称は、「荷物」を「シュッ！」と運ぶ意味を込めた造語。列車による速達性・利便性の高い荷物輸送サービスであることを名称とロゴデザインに込めた。
なお、新幹線の旅客列車で西日本の地産品を即日で配送するサービスは「FRESH WEST」というブランド名で展開している。
