Revolut、Apple Payに対応
Revolutは3日、RevolutカードのApple Pay対応を開始した。これにより、RevolutカードをApple Payに設定し、Revolutを使って国内外のVisaのタッチ決済対応店舗やアプリ、ウェブ上などで支払いが可能となる。

Revolut(レボリュート)は、タッチ決済対応のVisaデビットカード(リアルカード・バーチャルカード)として決済に利用できるほか、手数料不要で有利なレートの為替両替・送金、支出管理、eSIMなどの機能を備えた金融アプリ。
従来は店舗での支払いなどにカードが必要だったが、Apple Pay対応により、Revolutを使って国内外のVisaのタッチ決済対応店舗やアプリなどからスピーディーに支払えるようになる。
Apple Payは、モバイル端末でVisaのタッチ決済を実現するVisaのセキュリティ・プラットフォーム「Visaトークンサービス」を採用。スマートフォンの紛失や加盟店への不正アクセスなどによるカード情報の流出を防ぎ、安全なデジタル決済を実現する。
今回のApple Pay対応は、ビザ・ワールドワイド・ジャパンが、日本でのVisaデビットカードのApple Payに対応開始したことによるもの。Revolutのほか、ソニー銀行、三菱UFJ銀行のデビットカードもApple Payに対応している。
