「DDoS 攻撃は犯罪」「代行サービス使用も犯罪」警察庁
警察庁は4月27日、「サイバー警察局便りR8Vol.5」を公開した。
同便りでは、攻撃者などが不正に操作した多数のパソコンなどから、攻撃目標に一斉に多量の問い合わせなどを行い、攻撃対象のシステムなどを利用できない状況にするDDoS攻撃について、電子計算機損壊等業務妨害罪等に該当し、5年以下の拘禁刑等に処される可能性がある犯罪であると警告している。また、DDoS攻撃代行サービスを使って攻撃することも犯罪であるとしている。
警察庁では、ユーロポールを中心にDDoS攻撃に関する捜査・対策を行う国際オペレーション「Op.PowerOFF（オペレーション・パワーオフ）」に参加し、各種対策を実施しており、DDoS攻撃に係る検挙事例等を警察庁ウェブサイトで公開している。
