山林火災の岩手 大船渡支援へ 市役所など募金箱設置 栃木 足利
山林火災が続く岩手県大船渡市を支援しようと4年前に大規模な山火事があった栃木県足利市では、市役所や公民館などに募金箱を設置しています。
岩手県大船渡市では先月26日に発生した山林火災が5日で1週間となり、焼失面積は市の面積の9％に達していますが、鎮火のめどは立っていません。
こうした中、4年前に鎮火に3週間かかる大規模な山火事が発生した足利市では市役所や市内の公民館など19か所に支援のための募金箱を4日設置しました。
4年前、市には全国からおよそ6700万円の寄付が寄せられ、消防機材の購入やハイキングコースの復旧などにあてたということで、足利市は今回集まった募金を大船渡市の消防活動や被災者の支援などに広く使ってほしいとしています。
足利市社会福祉課の川島元貴課長は「4年前の恩返しをしたいという強い思いがあり呼びかけを始めました。少しでも早く火事が収束してほしいです」と話していました。
