カシオ計算機は、G-SHOCKの新作として、漁網をリサイクルしたクロスバンドを採用する「GW-BX5600CBG」を4月に発売する。Bluetooth電波ソーラーの腕時計で、価格は35,200円。 環境をテーマにしたバリエーションモデルで、海洋汚染の要因として問題視されている使用済み廃漁網を加工し、クロスバンドに再利用したのが特徴。バンドの表面には水面をイメージしたパターンが施されている。ケースやベゼルの主な樹脂パーツにバイオマスプラスチックを使用。パッケージはリサイクル素材を使用した特別仕様となる。 ベースモデルは、2025年11月に発売された「GW-BX5600」シリーズ。MIP(メモリインピクセル)液晶が特徴で、高精細、広視野角、高コントラストで視認性に優れる。画面の基本表示をボタン操作で切り替えられ、アプリ連携で数字のフォントも変更できる。 クオーツ式ムーブメント(モジュールNo.3578)を搭載。耐衝撃構造で20気圧防水。ソーラー発電、スマートフォンアプリ「CASIO WATCHES」とのBluetooth連携、電波受信に対応する。 ワールドタイム(55都市)、ストップウォッチ(1/100秒)、タイマー、時刻アラーム・時報、バッテリー充電警告、パワーセービング、フルオートカレンダー、12/24時間制表示切替、操作音ON/OFF切替、日付表示、曜日表示、LEDバックライト(ホワイト)の各機能を搭載する。フル充電時からソーラー発電無しの状態での駆動時間は機能使用の場合で約6カ月、パワーセービング状態の場合で約22カ月。本体サイズは49.1×44.1×13.4mm、重量は55g。
