父の日を前に 子どもたちに対する接し方考える 都内でシンポ
今月15日の父の日を前に、子どもたちに対する大人の接し方について考えるシンポジウムが都内で開かれました。
これは子どものキャリア教育などに関わる活動を行っているNPO法人「おやじ日本」が開いたもので、東京 渋谷区の会場にはおよそ100人が集まったほか、インターネットでも配信されました。
まず、バレーボールの元日本代表で、スポーツでの怒る指導をなくす取り組みをしている益子直美さんが、「暴力や圧力のある指導は子どもの主体性を奪ってしまう。自分で考えて動けるようになる指導が大切だ」と自身の経験を交えて話しました。
これに対し、タレントの「パックンマックン」などパネリストからは、「スポーツを楽しむことから主体性が生まれる」とか、「感情的に怒るのと、愛情を持って叱るのは違う。結果ではなく、頑張ったプロセスを褒めることが大切ではないか」といった意見が出ていました。
また、子どもの立ち直り支援などを行うNPO法人の井内清満理事長は、「抱えている問題を吐き出す力がない子どももいる。家庭だけでなく地域で支えることも重要だ」と話していました。
シンポジウムに参加した男性は「自分もスポーツの指導者をやっているので、皆さんが取り組んでいる活動を参考にして、主体性を育むような指導を行っていきたい」と話していました。
