自動でピントが合うアイウェア「ViXion01S」 アマゾン・ビック・ヨドバシで予約開始
ViXionは、ビックカメラ、ヨドバシカメラ、Amazonにて、オートフォーカスアイウェア「ViXion01S」の予約受付を開始した。価格は88,000円で発売は5月下旬以降。

ビックカメラ、ヨドバシカメラの取扱店舗では、「ViXion01S」の体験も可能。本体に取り付けて使用するアウターレンズ交換サービスも一部店舗で開始した。乱視、近視、遠視用レンズのほか、サングラスや偏光グラスなど(度なし)を取り扱う。
「ViXion01S」は、2023年のクラウドファンディングで4億円超の支援を達成した「ViXion01」のアップデートモデル。遠距離から近距離までオートフォーカスで自動でピントが合うアイウェアで、機能面は従来を踏襲しながら、デザイン面のフィードバックや乱視のユーザーからの要望を取り入れ、より普段使いしやすいデザインへ刷新している。
前モデルと比較して約40%軽量化し、フレームもスリム化。オートフォーカスにより視力を矯正するというアイデアは40年前からあったが、製品化したのは「ViXion01」が世界初。
「ViXion01S」は2024年9月26日から「Kibidango」「GREEN FUNDING」でクラウドファンディングを実施しており、当時の価格は200台限定の超早期割引で59,800円だった。
また、「ViXion01S」の一般販売開始に合わせ、「ViXion01」の価格も88,000円に改定されている。
