ティファニーがエキシビション「ティファニー ワンダー」技と創造の187年を東京で開催

ティファニーは、エキシビション「ティファニー ワンダー」を4月12日(金）から6月23日(日）まで、虎ノ門ヒルズ ステーションタワー45階のTOKYO NODEで開催する。このエキシビションは、ティファニーの職人技と創造性、伝統と現代性の物語を伝える数百点に及ぶデザインの傑作や、20世紀を代表するアーティストのひとり、ジャン・シュランバージェの代表作であるバード オン ア ロックのブローチ、そして伝説的な「ザ ティファニー ダイヤモンド」に至るまでティファニーが誇る唯一無二の作品で魅了する没入型のエキシビションだ。
10のルームで構成された「ティファニー ワンダー」は、それぞれの部屋ごとにテーマを設けており、ブランドの伝統である創造性と職人技、礎の中心を成すテーマを探る展示となっている。ティファニーならではのヘリテージが息づく初期の「ブルー ボックス」や128.54カラットのザ ティファニー ダイヤモンドなど、ティファニーの200年近い物語を10のルームを通して味わうことができる。
また、開催場所となる「TOKYO NODE」を手がけた建築事務所のOMAは、アメリカ・ニューヨークの5番外の本店 ザ ランドマークの再構築も手がけたことで知られているが、「ティファニー ワンダー」の会場制作もおこなっているので、こだわりの会場内のデザインにも注目だ。
