台湾の半導体大手TSMCの、9月までの3か月間の決算はAI向けの半導体の需要拡大で最終的な利益が過去最高を更新しました。

AI・半導体業界の先行きへの不透明感も広がる中、会社は引き続き、需要の拡大が見込まれるとの認識を示しました。

半導体の受託生産で世界最大手のTSMCは15日、2026年7月から9月までの3か月間の決算を発表しました。

それによりますと、売り上げは、前の年の同じ時期より50.9％増え、およそ1兆4900億台湾元、日本円にして7兆3000億円余り、最終的な利益も68.7％増え、3兆7000億円余りと、いずれも3か月ごとの決算としては過去最高を更新しました。

AI・半導体業界の先行きへの不透明感も広がる中、魏哲家CEOはオンラインの説明会で「需要は極めて旺盛であり、減速する兆候はまったく見られない」と述べ、今後も需要の拡大が見込まれるとの認識を示しました。

また、熊本県の第2工場の計画が順調に進んでいるという考えを示すとともに、アメリカの生産拠点として西部アリゾナ州に加え、新たに南部テキサス州を候補地の1つとして検討していることを明らかにしました。
